Portrait Shoot: Alexa
This blog post has been a long time coming. It's also double special because I'm launching my new logo and branding courtesy of the wonderful Jamie Endres Davenport! Jamie worked with me closely to help what I envisioned become a reality. The basis of the logo design was water and winter, both equally important things to me. The double Hh was a play on the alliteration in my name which Jamie did an amazing job executing. The frost is by far my favorite part of the logo as it's unique and personal.
Without further delay I present my photo session with Alexa. If she looks familiar to you, she should, she's my best friend Gretchen's sister ;) and you will certainly remember her E-shoot with Brian. Alexa was kind enough to let me photograph her for practice. We started out with picking out her outfits and accessories. It was wayy too windy in Holmdel Park that day, but this was a small taste of what we got accomplished before we called it a day. Oh and it's certainly be fair to say this is not the last we see of Alexa on my blog!
Alexa has a great sense of style and this new white sweater we picked up a few days before was perfect for this chilly day. Loved her owl necklace!
Outfit change and this is definitely my favorite outfit of the session. The colors in the plaid just popped! Plus I've now converted Alexa to the wonders of plaid.
The photo on the left is definitely my favorite of the session and on the right we found this great bridge along the path around the lake.
Peaking through the leaves (I've been wanting to do different angles and perspectives)
Easily my second favorite, look at that plaid against the greenery! Goofing off with Alexa got me this great smile out of her. Thanks Alexa for indulging me and I'm looking forward to our next shoot! :D
