Engagement Shoot: Gloria & Ray on 1.28.17So one of my friends from Rutgers, who also works at Box, approached me about photographing his proposal to his girlfriend. Of course I was a little nervous but Ray made it really clear it was happy for any support I could provide. Having recently swapped from Canon to Sony, I still had my 3 prime lenses from Canon (used with a metabones adapter), but I didn't have any Sony lenses. Ray ended up rented 2 lenses for me to shoot this surprise proposal. Day of we drove out to where Gloria was to meet Ray. Turns out Ray had organized a Bay wide scavenger hunt for her to relive some of their favorite moments together, all leading her out here to the cliffs near Route 1 in Santa Cruz so Ray could propose :)
Congrats Ray and Gloria! It was an absolute honor to be part of such an intimate moment and wishing you both all the best!
